Pacific and Bowers Ambulance offers the following services;
Basic Life Support Transport (BLS)
Basic Life Support ambulances are staffed by two Emergency Medical Technicians- (EMT). EMT’s are trained in airway management (using simple airway adjuncts) and can administer oxygen, suction patients, monitor non-medicated IV infusions, maintain immobilization devices and provide first responder care to the acutely ill and injured, including CPR.

Advanced Life Support (ALS) Paramedic- L.A. County Only
Staffed by highly trained Emergency Medical Technician- Paramedics
(EMT-P), Bowers (Pacific’s sister company) provides Advanced Life Support (ALS) level services 24-hours per day, 7 days per week throughout the City and County of Los Angeles.
Our Paramedics, trained to an administer Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) thus making them fully able to monitor cardiac activity, maintain certain medicated IV infusions, and even intubate if necessary. Additionally, all of our Paramedic Units are equipped with sophisticated communication devices, enabling base hospital contact should our staff require real-time physician consultation. This service assures that patients receive the most appropriate level of care based on their acuity.
Bowers takes a proactive approach to training and continuing education and routinely utilizes our Paramedics to assist in EMT skills certification, CPR, and non-formal ACLS and PALS group continuing education to ensure that we deliver the highest level of care to our patients and customers.

Nurse-Staffed Critical Care Transport (ACLS)
Pacific provides clinically superior ACLS transport services
throughout Orange County and San Diego County. In our Orange
County Division of Pacific and our Los Angeles Division of Bowers,
we offer the most innovative and responsive ACLS transportation
solutions available. Staffed 24-Hours per day, 7 day per week,
our state-of-the-art Critical Care Transport Units are strategically
deployed throughout Orange, San Diego, and Los Angeles Counties
and are furnished with specialized equipment and medications typically
found in hospital intensive care units (including 12-lead cardiac
monitors/defibrillators, multi-channel infusion pumps, pulse
oximetry, end-title CO2 monitoring, and ventilators).
Led by a team of the most well respected physicians in emergency medicine and operating under the most progressive protocols and standing orders, our nursing staff has extensive experience in their clinical specialty (emergency, critical care, and transport nursing) and function under an expanded scope of practice. Upon hire, nurses must pass a formal orientation and field-training program that focuses in concepts of transport, trauma, pediatrics, and pre-hospital care. All nurses are required to maintain Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications.

NICU / PICU Transports
We offer specialized vehicles with hydraulic lifts for the transport of isolettes and other specialized equipment along with specially trained personnel who are highly experienced and trained in the transport of NICU and PICU patients and transport teams.

Special Event Stand-by’s / Community Services
We are proud of our commitment to service the communities throughout Orange County, San Diego County, and Los Angeles County. We actively educate our healthcare partners and the citizens we service in a variety of training opportunities to include Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR). We also are involved in Health Fairs, Career Day’s, and School “show-n-tells”. We also provide special event coverage when requested.
